zChocolat zBox Collection

It felt like Christmas already when the delivery guy sent a package to me all the way from France. I’m a self proclaimed chocolate enthusiast and you have no idea how it made me so excited to open the box filled with chocolates. It was from zChocolat and it was the best early Christmas present ever!

THE PACKAGING

zChocolat, a French chocolate company sent me one of their collections and it was the 30 pcs. zBox Collection. From the packaging itself, you can tell that these chocolates were of high quality. It comes with a black cotton pouch with their signature logo on it. The sleek box packaging is durable with a glossy look on the outside and a matte black background. If you want, you can add your own photo on the box, add some accessories like a bow and have your own personal message written on a small card. What they gave me was the one above.

Inside the box, it comes with another 2 small boxes with 15 assorted chocolates each. The box actually contained two small ice containers and it has a fragile no heat sign so I’m pretty sure this box of delicious chocolates would safely go to you.

THE CHOCOLATES

The French are known for their superb wines and exquisite cuisine. French chocolate is no exception, it is one of the best chocolates in the world. Each chocolate is handmade by Pascal Caffet, World-Champion Chocolatier, with zealous adherence to French tradition: no alcohol, no preservatives, high cocoa content, low sugar, and 100% pure cocoa butter. These signature dark, milk, and white chocolates include rich ganaches prepared with French butter and cream from Normandy and finely textured pralines honed from a perfected mixture of Valencia almonds from Spain and Piedmont hazelnuts from Italy.

The chocolates were delicious! I have already consumed 15 pieces. Ooppss. It was creamy, each chocolate was a surprise. Well, it is if you won’t look at the small booklet they included inside the package where they list every flavor of each chocolate in their collections.

My favorite is Milk Z which has caramel that oozes out from the center, milk chocolate and praline. My second favorite is N°13, a rich and smooth raspberry ganache with a hint of violet drenched in 70% Venezuelan dark chocolate. I haven’t tasted them all yet but so far, each chocolate has its own distinct flavor and I love all of them.

THE PERFECT GIFT

Now that holiday season is coming up, this would be the perfect gift to send to your love ones no matter where they are in the world. They have lots of collections to choose from. It even has a Holiday collection if you want something Christmas-y. You can personalize each gift by giving them your own message, add some accessories to the packaging like heart padlock, a seal, ribbon, photos of them, and add an engraved name on the box. You can even send anonymously to your crush if you don’t want them to know who you are (but I suggest you let them know because duh, chocolates can fix everything lol). If you buy 3 or more orders, there would be no shipping fee.

These are certainly the best chocolates I have ever tasted. What’s yours?

GAAAAAH they look so pretty! Have they already set shop here in the Philippines or the chocolates directly come from France?

They directly came from France! They don’t have a shop anywhere here in Asia but you can always get them by ordering online and it won’t ever melt 🙂
