My Favorite Phone Apps

I can’t live without my phone. I’d like to think that I’ve got everything I need here. Thanks to apps that made my life so much easier. So I wanted to share some of my favorite phone apps. Enjoy! x

VSCO-Cam-iconThis is the only photo editing app I use.  It comes with free filters but buying the in-app presets are so so worth it. There are so many presets to choose from which ranges from black and white to film-like presets to faded presets and so much more. It comes with a library where you can store your edited photos inside the app. You can also edit your photos’ contrast, saturation, exposure, temperature and other basic tools. It also has a feature called VSCO grid where you can post some of your photos and sometimes if you get lucky, your photo will be featured.

I think most of you know what Spotify is. It’s a music app where you can listen to all of the songs you want and make your own playlist. Spotify features some playlists for you to listen to, and you can also listen to playlists that other users made. And if you pay for premium every month, it allows you to listen to all of your songs even when you’re offline. It literally saves my phone memory and effort to download songs to my iTunes so now, I just use Spotify.

IBooks_Icon_2013I consider myself a bookworm because I love reading so much and this app fills my thirst for books. Most of the books I read were eBooks and this is where I store it. It allows me to highlight some of the quotes I like and I love how it makes books portable so I can read anywhere I want.

Before moving here on WordPress, I was using Tumblr for this blog. Now, I still have an account but I use it for reblogging and posting my writing such as poems and proses instead. This is also where I read posts from bloggers who are still using that platform. There are so many amazing people I’ve met using Tumblr so I just can’t leave just like that.

Now who doesn’t have a Twitter? This is what I use to express myself, get updates from friends and to share my blog posts. What’s your twitter? 🙂

This app is like a time capsule to all you posts in every social media like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and even from you camera roll. It shows the photos you took and shared exactly one year ago, two years ago and so on. It makes you cringe and laugh sometimes to what you said 4 years ago but this app is fun.

b1ba200a421af530e92ba8a0c37fae61This is my new purchase and I am addicted! I love to write and this app is just like a mini typewriter but it’s on your phone! You couldn’t even delete what you typed so sometimes you just have to create a new one or type a letter over it. You can later save your work on your phone, share it to social media or share it to their own gallery where you can see other people’s writings. I posted some one my Tumblr. Check it out!

What about you? What are your favorite apps? 🙂

I downloaded Vsco over the weekend because so many bloggers said they use it, and now I finally see what all the fuss is about! My latest blog post has photos that were all edited using that app. I’m amazed by all the options and how aesthetically pleasing the final pictures turn out, as opposed to most apps that just make the pictures look overdone and oversaturated. Definitely my fave at the moment too!

Most instagrammers use this app. I’m glad I purchased the filters. They are all so good! Love how it turned out in your photos too!

Apps that I always have on my phone: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Goodreads, Kindle, MangaRock.

I prefer Kindle than iBooks because the book marketplace is much better than iBooks. They have lots of free and promo ebooks too so I recommend that you try this app too.

Spotify and iBooks are the BEST!! You might want to check out the Goodreads app as they have recently released a new and improved version! 🙂
