Life Currently #7

READING// I’m reading The Diary of A Young Girl by Anne Frank. I have read the story before from my mom’s old literature book but it was like a script from a play. I want to know the real words to that book so I’m reading the original book. I just learned that it’s the second most popular non fiction book ever sold. The first one was the Bible.

LISTENING// I’m on Spotify most of the time and I’ve been listening non stop to Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding, All Of The Stars by Ed Sheeran, I Want You To Know by Zedd, I Think I’m In Love by Kat Dahlia and Hearbeat Song by Kelly Clarkson. I’m into more upbeat songs right now. It makes me feel alive.

WATCHING// I have been loving Filipino movies lately. My favorite is That Thing Called Tadhana and Crazy Beautiful You. Watching those movies made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

FEELING// I am feeling happy and very much loved right now. I sometimes feel scared sometimes about my future but it’s nice knowing that there arepeople around you who supports you and love you.

EATING//  I am trying to eat healthy nowadays but I also enjoy donuts once in a while.

REMINISCING// This night when we have karaoke with my cousins and my aunt. It was the best. We had so much fun singing and rocking those Mickey Mouse ears. haha.

Cool post! I like how you summarized your life lately with these pointers. Me and my guy were also into Filipino movies lately but we think the movie ‘That Thing Called Tadhana’ was quite boring. We still need to see what Crazy Beautiful You can offer.

That Thing Called Tadhana is kinda a bit draggy but I really like the lines they deliver. I think that’s what makes it a good movie. It has some kind of Indie feel to it. Crazy Beautiful You is much more lively and funny. You might enjoy it.

I love Anne Franks diary. I visited her house in Amsterdam a few years back and it’s so.. it’s good but also a bit depressing. I read the book right after that.

I’ve read Anne Frank’s diary, and the experience was interesting. I wasn’t that drawn to her words, but I surely felt like I was a part of her repetitive, somewhat boring, but thrilling life. Would definitely like to know your thoughts for the book 🙂

Agreed! Filipinos movies lately are hitting the right spot. I actually can’t wait for more movies to come out this year. Hopefully they are as great as That Thing Called Tadhana and Crazy Beautiful You.

I think I have that Anne Frank book in my shelf but I haven’t started reading it yet. Didn’t know it’s the second most popular nonfic book, too! That’s pretty amazing! So glad to see Ellie Goulding’s in your list of ear candy, too! I’ve been hooked since the first time I heard that Love Me Like You Do. I have a copy of That Thing Called Tadhana that my friend sent me. She liked it so maybe I’ll set aside time for that, too!

I have that book (Anne Frank) too but I haven’t got the chance to read it yet. I have heard a lot of good reviews about these movies too. I hope they will release a DVD soon since I can’t go out and watch it on cinema.

I love your choices! From music to book. And I’m back to reading as well. I’ve finished Every You, Every Me by David Levithan in less than a day and now I’m reading Before Ever After by Samantha Sotto. It’s nice to be back to reading. 🙂

    P.S.

I love The Diary of Anne Frank. And That Thing Called Tadhana. Really good.

    Cheers~!
