How I Spent My Holidays

I almost abandoned this blog for there were so many happenings lately. It’s a good thing in a way because I get to spend time with my relatives before they go back to their busy life in different places of the world. I must say this has been a really great holiday. There’s no better way than to spend it with the ones you love.

Let’s rewind to Christmas day. I just spent it at home with my mom and younger brother over some good food at the table which we prepared ourselves. I noticed me and my mom has been going to Starbucks more than usual lately. I’m not complaining. I love their coffee and yummy cakes!

I’ve been active on Snapchat lately. It’s an app where you get to take photos and send it to your followers. It’s cool cos you can add a text on it or you can draw on it and you can see who viewed your photos. So, I documented the last sunset and moon of the year before it was gone. If you want to see my snapchat, it’s alissamags.

Remember how I ranted on one of my latest blog post where I thought my Christmas is gonna be lonely cos my Dad’s not here and most of my cousins are away? Well what a surprise! Some of them flew here from different parts of the world and we had a mini reunion. Even some of them I only get to see for a few days, it’s quite nice seeing them after years and spending time with them again.

On New Year’s Eve, there was nothing fancy. Just me, my mom and my brother again. I had too much chocolates. And I get to watch fireworks so close from our house. Good thing I managed to keep a video of it.

How did you spend your holidays? Was it fun too? πŸ™‚

Wonderful that you had a great season and spent the holidays with your family! I agree with you about Starbucks. I went through a period of going there almost every day back in high school! It got so bad that I would be late for my afternoon classes just because I needed a white raspberry mocha with coffee crumble cake.

Haha! Starbucks really is addicting plus it’s just near my place, it’s hard to keep myself from going in there. What I love are the cheesecakes! πŸ™‚

Snapchat is heavily used worldwide, but for some, they use it for “other” purposes. About the holidays, seems like you had a good time! And oh, that firework display is awesome. You had a clear view of it!

Awesome! As for me, during Christmas day we went out of town. Then on NYE’s, we just spent it at home since it was my girlfriend’s birthday as well so I just cooked some of her favorite dishes and watched the fireworks display from inside our home.

Snapchat is more personal and more random when you think about it. You can send videos and images to some exclusively and to everyone too. You can draw on it or add a text plus you can set how many seconds they can see ur photo. They cant look at it forever and if they screenshot it, youll know. Its cool cos u know who views your photos and videos.
