Happy Skin Mini Haul

Online shopping has been my ultimate weakness. Not only it’s accessible but you get to discover other brands and I’m glad I stumbled upon Happy Skin. I usually would think about it a hundred times before clicking the purchase button but I knew I had to get some of Happy Skin’s product. Hey, it’s okay to treat yourself sometimes. This brand is worth it anyway.

I like how it’s a local brand, so it really caters to Filipina skin. Not only the packaging and branding is so pretty but the makeup quality is also good and at the same time, it cares for your skin.

GLISTEN UP STROBING KIT

It contains a highlighter and a contour stick packed inside a pretty box with instructions on it. I have a contour kit already but it’s on powder form and it’s not that visible on my morena skin. I tried this one though and it suits my skin perfectly! It smoothly glides on my face and blends pretty well. I’m still not a pro in using this technique but I’m learning.

SHUT UP AND KISS ME

I got the Honeymoon Glow shade and I really love it! It’s a matte lippie but it doesn’t feel like it. It doesn’t dry out my lips like other mattes that I own. It’s really moisturizing and long lasting. Might purchase a different shade next time.

EYE AM THE ONE

This is by far the best mascara I have ever tried! It lengthens, thickens and curls your eyelashes. Not only it makes your eyes extra attractive but it also repairs and conditions eyelashes and can even activate hair growth. What makes this unique from other brands that I’ve tried is, it’s so easy to remove. With just warm water, you can easily remove it without making your eyes look like a raccoon’s. Although it’s waterproof and smudge proof, this Japanese fiber mascara slides off the lashes effortlessly.

MAKE A CLEAN SWEEP

happy skin makeup cleanser

This is my first makeup remover product and it lives up to its name. With a cotton pad or cotton balls, it cleans the makeup off easily leaving a soft skin. It has Micellar Water originating from France, a non-rinse, soap-free cleansing water that contains micelle molecules which traps makeup and dirt! They have the highest makeup removing powers.

WHERE TO BUY?

You can either get it on their official site or on Zalora. Don’t forget to use the code ZBAP104 to get a 15% discount when shopping at Zalora. If you’re not into online shopping, you can get it on Plaints and Prints stores at the mall.

Although the products are kind of pricey compared to what I would usually buy, it is indeed worth it. My skin is sensitive and dry and Happy Skin makes beauty worry free from breakouts and dryness. I hope these products lasts long cos I’m pretty sure I would be using them almost everyday from now on. I regret not getting the liquid eyeliner but I’m gonna keep my eye on it.

I am so bad at controlling myself when it comes to online shopping 🙁 especially when I found out that I can buy products from the US and ship it all the way here in the PH. I end up saving a lot kasi US online stores are always on sale or product prices are really cheap!!!!!! I recently purchased Wet n Wild brushes and hoard Bath and Body Works products. Still thinking about my Colourpop order 😂 Shipping is longer but it will be worth the wait 😂

You can shop to any US-based shop! I recently placed an order at Bath & Body Works and Wet n Wild, thinking about ordering from Colourpop too but can’t downsize the number of items I want to get! I want to buy all shades lol. I use https://my-shoppingbox.com/ for the shipment, I think out of all the freight forwarders they’re the cheapest. They’ll be giving you a US address which is where you’ll ship the items you shop for. And from there, they’ll be shipping it out to you door-to-door no more customs taxes it’s included na in your shipping fee. Rates depends on if it is shipped by air or sea (cheaper but longer waiting time!)

I checked this out and read your tweet about the shipping fee is more expensive than the items you bought? Is this true?

Yes! My fault though 😂 I ordered 8 lbs of product from Bath and Body Works because they are on a 70% sale. And because shipping fee is computed by weight I got charged more if shipped by air. I opted to have that order shipped by sea which is a lot cheaper so all good. It’s sad lang na I have to wait longer haha. But the wet n wild brushes $12 by air fee yung binayad ko.

I’ve never tried any product from this brand, but I heard that their lippies are somewhat similar, if not better than the Revlon ColorBust Matte Balm. 🙂 Gotta love products that are made in the Philippines!

I remember seeing this in a magazine and after that, people online and a few of my friends seem to rave about ’em! Especially their lip products. Are they super good even after a long day?

I must have lived in a cave cos I haven’t heard about it till recently. I’m glad I purchased it 🙂 Yes, it’s good and they last long but it depends. I, for instance, loves to lick my lips so I would reapply them, but not constantly.

I’m not really into make up that much but when I order online it usually is for art books and art supplies that are not available here in PH. I can also say that it is my weakness too but I was able to stay away from it for months now which i consider a great achievement! haha. The packaging of the strobing kit is really cute!

I was like that months before! I ordered a lot of art supplies and then I’m not interested in art as much as I did. Or maybe I’m just too busy. I’ll go back to it for sure.
