Pool and Zip-line Adventure

Last weekend, my cousins and I went to a resort called Damires Hills in Janiuay Iloilo. It’s a perfect place to bond together and catch up on things. We already went here two years ago but it was still under development at that time. Now, it’s even more beautiful plus they have much more activities to do and they have two pools now. They used to have only one.

Once you’ll reach the resort, this view will greet you. It’s green everywhere! We were lucky that the weather was not that hot. It was a bit cold but not cold enough to freeze. I guess it was the perfect weather.

This pathway will lead you to cottages. You can spend the night here, they have some rooms but we’re only staying here for the day so our cottage was at the end of the pathway near where the ATV’s are and near to the larger pool. Our cottage has a hammock too where my cousin slept the entire time cos she didn’t get enough sleep from partying the night before. Lol.

They have a kids’ adventure park where children can enjoy things like that on the photo of my cousins having a great time trying to walk on a rope, wall climbing, a mini zip-line, and a net where you can climb.

Before lunch, we took a dip at the larger pool, the other pool is like an infinity pool but it was smaller. It was a little bit cold for a swim but we all did anyway. That explains why I’m having sniffles right now. Sucks.

There were other activities too like riding on an ATV, bungee trampoline, and of course, zip-line! We all did that by the way including my 5 year old cousin Gunner. How brave he is! But you can see that he’s a bit anxious at this photo. Oh, we all did it in pairs by the way. Anyway the zip line was approximately 1,250 ft. We all did it twice in different locations. The view was breathtaking! It’s cool that we can see our relatives waving from the cottage. It was so fun!

Here’s a random selfie before I hit the pool. 😀 It was a long day. It was a 2 hour drive from the city. We were tired but that didn’t stop us from celebrating Dinagyang at night. I think I’ll post about that too.

When I went to Iloilo last year, I just stayed at a resort in Tigbauan and in Iloilo City. Since I went solo, I wouldn’t have thought of going to this place. But it looks so refreshing and calming! 🙂

It’s blurry 🙁 I would have used my phone to video ourselves while going through that rope but I’m scared I might drop it

I have never been to Iloilo ever since because I’d rather buy clothes that buy airplane fare and go there. LOL!

I think it’s a great place to bond and just have time with love ones. I remember our stay in Batangas, it was a beach and was nice too.

I’m so happy I found your blog on Camie’s blog due to the Getting to Know You & Me post. I love your blog because it’s so simple and your posts are very interesting! I liked your Facebook page because I don’t know if you have a Bloglovin or not and I really want to get an update of your posts. 🙂

Anyway, I love zip-lining! I haven’t been to Iloilo yet but I’ve tried zip-lining in Bohol. It was so high and the view was wonderful! I forgot where exactly in Bohol I did it though. 🙁

Nice! Now I know where to go when I visit my cousins there in Ilo-Ilo. The only place I can think of before was to visit the typical malls but upon seeing your blog, it made me change my mind! Playing in the park is more relaxing than walking around busy malls. Is the zip line long?

Yes, it’s long. You have to do it twice to go to the other side :). You can go to Guimaras when you Visit Iloilo, it’s just near the city. Only 30 minute or even less than that pumpboat ride. But you must try the food here in Iloilo first!
