A Day With My Cousin

I’ve been hanging out with my cousin Divine mostly these days. She sometimes stay at our house and we have the same goal as of right now when it comes to our careers so we’re pretty much together most of the time. There’s never a dull moment with her. It was always fun! I’ll blog about this particular day when we went out to see the new hang out place in Iloilo, what they call Atria.

It was funny how we made it to this place. We weren’t sure where it was located at first and how to get there so I pulled off my phone and Goggled it while my cousin posted it as a Facebook status asking her friends for directions. Haha. Really classy. Anyway, it was so hot so we decided to take a Taxi instead. When we got off, it turns out that we were in a different part so we walked a few blocks again. Good thing it’s not that far but it was really hot.

This place is amazing! It has new cafes, restaurants, shops and some of the spaces are still not occupied. It’s a great place to hang out though and it’s close to Smallville, which is the night life place in the city and it’s also close to Plazuela and SM City Iloilo.

There were many restaurants but this is where me and my cousin had lunch. It’s famous for their oysters. Each meal you order, there’s 3 baked oysters that comes with it. We both ordered sisig.

Here’s me sipping a drink like that’s not obvious already. lol. Funny story, I was about to enter the restaurant first when I tripped! I didn’t face planted or landed the ground but it was loud enough to make all the people look at me. That was so embarrassing! I just laughed at myself and walked inside like nothing has happened.

Here’s me and Divine walking around. I tripped again. Surprise surprise. I wasn’t even wearing heels! Gosh, Alissa. Anyway, after a sumptuous lunch plus a cup of extra rice, we decided to go home. That was a great day!

I’ve hardly gone down to that region of the Philippines, we mostly stay up north. I’d love to see it one day! Furthest we’ve ever gone is Cebu, and that was just once in my life.

^^^^ The place indeed looks like Capital Commons.

I’ve never been to Iloilo. Maybe in the future, I can also go there. I want to go around our country one day. 🙂

Me too! Hope you can visit Iloilo. It’s just small but it’s progressing quickly. Plus the food, you have to try every restaurant.
